The summer before last, while on the road in our summer home, we stopped into the RV/MH Hall of Fame and Museum in Elkhart, IN. It was waaaaayyyy more fun than it sounds. I have loved tiny houses since I was little, hanging out in my Grammie & Pop’s Airstream. This museum had so many cool old RV’s, we didn’t even have enough time for it all. Their examples go all the way back to the turn of the last century. If you find yourself in Indiana… you now know what to do. Oh, and here’s a hint— the outside windows are tinted and consequently the place never looks open. We got there early and waited in the parking lot for an hour or so, only to find out it had been open the whole time! I can hardly wait to get back on the road again! See link to their website below.
